Rapidly growing premium specialty-grade organic beverage company is seeking a rock star Vice President of Sales to help fuel their continued growth.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced VP of Sales to lead the sales organization and become a strategic partner to the CEO. Our client depends on their leaders to use creativity, passion, and the ability to learn and adapt to create complex business solutions. Working closely with the CEO, you will develop and execute a corporate sales plan that will expand the brand into untapped or underserved channels. You will play an instrumental role in the creation of long-term goals and plans to boost revenue streams across multiple outlets.

Responsibilities

Co-develop strategic path for sales organization, with alignment of the CEO and approval of BOD.

Key partner of the Senior Leadership Team; this team (CEO/VP Sales/COO/CFO/ VP Marketing) will strategize the 5-year plan and ensure proper tactics to achieve the growth plan.

Lead sales organization that will drive business growth across all customer segments and ensure that aligned upon strategic KPIs are achieved.

Collaborate with customers, remaining very well connected with top decision makers to ensure that broad market needs are incorporated into the product development cycle.

Lead annual sales forecasting process with detailed expectations (KPIs) for the members of both internal sales organization and broker partner organizations.

Develops and grows business relationships with current and prospective CPG / retail partners.

Continually assesses revenue potential of territory through analysis of the overall market, supports corporate goals, pipeline outlook and general industry intelligence to provide accurate sales forecast.

Manage relationships between distributors, brokers, and direct selling partners.

Qualifications

7+ years of experience leading CPG products from manufacturing thru distributors to retail

experience with multiple channels is highly preferred

Perishable product or related food/beverage experience is a plus

10+ years of professional sales experience

5+ years of sales leadership experience

5+ years of people management experience

Knowledge of customer and reporting requirements

Excellent cross-functional working skills

Exceptional written and oral communication skills
