The Role: Interim Talent Acquisition Specialist
Location: Waterford, Wisconsin


The Company

HireBetters client is a Joint Commission Accredited and licensed long term acute care hospital (LTACH) that has delivered 25 years of innovative programs and extensive services with expertise in medically complex care, neurobehavioral health, rehabilitation, and community supportive living.

The Role

Works with Human Resource Director and Human Resource Generalist to assure for the smooth operations of the Human Resource Department. Screen for candidates on ADP Website, set up interviews and interviewing applicants with Supervisors or Managers, per scheduling availability. Collaboratively consult with hiring managers to recommend strategies for identifying and recruiting potential candidates. Process new hires, assuring for timely completion of paperwork and application of human resource policies and procedures. Attend career fairs in order to obtain qualified persons for recruitment. Responsible to ensure that the personnel files are complete, information is filed in a timely manner, and secured in compliance with State, and Joint Commission licensing requirements, standards and accreditation criteria.


  • Pre-screens candidates and process all step in the interview process per candidate. Obtains information requested for personnel files prior to any offer of employment and in accordance with state, federal and corporate guidelines (includes back ground checks, references, certifications and licensures).
  • Possess a working knowledge of Personnel Policies and Procedures.
  • Preserves the integrity and confidentiality of all staff personnel information. Acts in a responsible and professional manner at all times.
  • Will participate in coordination Orientation training.
  • Verifies accuracy of applications which includes but is not limited to collecting information on schooling, previous employment, professional affiliations and reference and background checks.
  • Adhere to and promote work practices consistent with the company’s mission, medical staff bylaws, administrative, clinical, and human resources policies and procedures.
  • Adheres to all facility policies and procedures. Conducts job duties in a manner to ensure safety of patients, families and staff.   
  • Prepares and distributes job opening list and maintains official job opening list to date by posting all vacant positions.
  • Process new hire paperwork within 24hrs of appointment.


  • Skill, Knowledge and Abilities: Strong verbal and written skills. Able to multi-task and work with a high sense of urgency to deliver full life-cycle recruiting. Basic knowledge of Human Resource fundamentals. Detail oriented. Able to communicate effectively, organize daily work efficiently and independently problem solve.   
  • Education: High school diploma, some continued education in human resources.
  • Licensure: N/A
  • Experience: Two years in human resource/recruiting field, preferred

  • Exposure Categories: Category III = Tasks that involve no exposure to blood, body fluids or tissues; and category I tasks are not a condition of employment
