The Role: Territory Sales Representative
Location: Hybrid – Angola, Indiana (with up to 30% travel to Traverse City, Michigan and other U.S. locations)

The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Territory Sales Representative to join its expanding team. This new role has been created to meet the growing demand for the company’s products. The Territory Sales Representative will play a pivotal role in driving new business, strengthening relationships with existing clients, and supporting the company’s growth initiatives. Reporting directly to the Director of Sales, the individual will be responsible for revenue expansion aligned with the company’s strategic goals.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a hybrid work environment, be comfortable traveling up to 30% of the time, and demonstrate a proactive approach to sales and client management.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, target, and secure new sales opportunities within the trailer and trucking industries.
  • Strengthen and grow relationships with existing customers.
  • Conduct presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment.
  • Maintain CRM data and provide regular sales reports.
  • Represent TrailerSteps.com at regional and national trade shows and client sites.
  • Assist in developing sales strategies to broaden market reach and increase brand awareness.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2-3 years B2B or industrial sales experience; background in automotive, trucking, or trailer accessories preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Proven track record in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
  • CRM proficiency (Salesforce or similar systems).
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
  • Knowledge of trailer steps, automotive accessories, or related technical products is advantageous.
