The Role
We are seeking a hands-on growth-oriented Marketing Manager that can devise and deliver on a strategic vision to grow the customer base in orders of magnitude. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing campaigns, collaborating with third-party agencies, overseeing the production of marketing materials and coordinating attendance at industry events. Your overarching key measures of success are MQLs and conversions, generated through comprehensive marketing activities such as outbound campaigns, social media, event marketing, case studies, customer referrals.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to set and achieve ambitious marketing goals, ensuring our client’s message resonates with the target audiences and aligns with the business objectives. As a key member of the Go-to-Market Team, you will work closely with the sales team to ensure that all demand generation programs align with the business objectives and growth strategy. Over time, you will have the opportunity to help build out the Marketing function and expand as a leader.
Responsibilities
- Campaign Planning: Design and execute cohesive marketing campaigns that align with and deliver measurable results for business goals.
- Research & Persona Development: Become an expert on the nuances of the regulation industry and public sector to effectively drive growth and reach new target audiences/customers.
- Goal Setting: Establish clear, measurable objectives for marketing campaigns and activities to ensure they support the company’s overall strategy and growth.
- Agency/Contractor Management: Manage relationships with third-party agencies or contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of content development and design services.
- Promotion: Develop and manage advertising campaigns across various platforms, optimizing for reach and engagement in targeted segments. Oversee the company’s media and social strategy, including content creation, schedules, and engagement metrics.
- Content and Collateral: Direct the creation of content and distribution to enhance the company’s trusted voice in the market. Work with the GTM teams to design and deploy campaigns across various channels by providing them with required collateral, and assets and information, ensuring brand consistency.
- Events: Plan and oversee the execution of all marketing events, including trade shows, webinars, and other promotional activities. Attend a selection of tradeshow events to learn the market and to represent the company. Play the role of host for marketing events to engage the prospective audiences to accelerate sales and existing customers to increase product adoption.
- Performance Metrics: Analyze and report on campaign performance metrics, including engagement and conversion rates, attribution, LTV/CAC among others that demonstrate ROI.
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education such as Marketing, Business Administration or related fields.
- 5+ years of experience in a marketing, demand generation or growth marketing role with a firm that is B2G (public sector) focused, and at least 2 in a marketing leadership role.
- Proven track record of driving significant quantifiable growth results through demand generation campaigns
- Proven track record experience in researching and understanding customer personas and building corresponding results-oriented marketing and demand general campaigns.
- Hands-on experience with a wide range of demand generation channels and tools
- Strong analytical skills and experience with campaign performance metrics and reporting.
- Creative thinker with a data-driven approach to problem solving.
- Strong project management skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
