The Role

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Condition Assessor specializing in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in either mechanical engineering or electrical engineering, with expertise in assessing the condition and functionality of MEP systems within various facilities. This role involves conducting comprehensive assessments, identifying maintenance needs, and providing recommendations to support our clients’ facility management objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed assessments of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities.
  • Conduct thorough inspections to evaluate the condition, performance, and safety of MEP components, including HVAC systems, electrical distribution systems, plumbing fixtures, and related infrastructure.
  • Utilize specialized tools, equipment, and techniques to gather data and identify potential issues or deficiencies in MEP systems.
  • Analyze assessment findings and compile comprehensive reports detailing the condition of MEP systems, maintenance requirements, and recommended corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, facility managers, and other stakeholders to develop maintenance strategies, prioritize repairs, and optimize facility performance.
  • Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to ensure compliance and quality assurance.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to clients regarding MEP systems, maintenance practices, and facility improvement initiatives.
