Their goal is to better serve both higher-ed and professional testing clients by creating the most comprehensive and transformative full-service online test development and delivery solution on the market.  As the demand for remote proctoring has grown, they’ve expanded their footprint to 16 offices in 8 countries, staffed by the largest certified proctor and support workforce in the world.


The Role

Our client is seeking a Director of FP&A to lead and direct their financial and strategic plan.


Responsibilities

The FP&A Director performs a wide range of duties that may include, but are not limited to:

  • Working closely with the leadership team to formulate the business’s medium to long term financial and strategic plan
  • Work with Business Unit heads to build their annual budgets and forecasts
  • Producing models to project long term growth and determine the impacting business factors
  • Delivery of competitor analysis, market trends and associated commentary to the Leadership team
  • Leading cross functional teams to support financial analysis and operational initiatives
  • Analyzing financial and operational results to better understand company performance including variance analysis
  • Producing periodic financial and metric reporting to monitor and track business performance.
  • Provide detailed analysis and commentary on cost center results
  • Reviewing operations and recommending new productivity or cost saving initiatives
  • Work with business team to preparing business cases to support new investment, strategic and other business decisions including M&A transactions
  • Communicating results and recommendations to senior management for improvements that will lead to cost reduction, revenue generation and streamlining operations


Qualifications

  • 7 – 10 years of FP&A experience including managing the company wide annual budget and monthly forecasting process.
  • Experience working in a leveraged environment and building and maintain a 3 statement forecast model/tool
  • Previous experience in investment banking and or Big 4 a plus
  • Experience within a SaaS or subscription based business
  • Significant analytical skillset, including the utilization of BI and reporting tools
  • Advanced MS Excel skills and experience working with and implementing forecasting tools such as Adaptive, Hyperion Planning, etc.
  • Able to solve complex problems
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships
  • Strong influencing and interpersonal skills
  • High level of commercial and analytical acumen
  • Excellent executive level presentation and communication skills – the ability to tell a “story” with numbers
