Position Summary

We are seeking a confident, emotionally intelligent Outside Sales Professional to serve as the first point of contact for property owners impacted by significant losses (typically $500K–$10M+). This is a high-impact, field-based sales role that requires someone who thrives on being in the community, engaging directly with property owners, and building trust quickly in high-stakes situations.

You will be backed by a strong brand, daily leads, and a seasoned team of closers, estimators, and claims experts. Your mission: secure signed representation agreements that allow us to advocate for policyholders and help them rebuild their lives.

Responsibilities

• Review daily company-provided assignments, which may require travel within the Bay Area, sometimes up to two hours from home.
• Conduct on-site visits to affected properties shortly after loss events and introduce the company’s services to prospective clients.
• Establish trust and rapport with homeowners, executives, attorneys, and property managers in the immediate aftermath of a loss.
• Lead consultative, high-value sales conversations that result in signed representation agreements.
• Partner closely with internal research and support teams, who provide detailed client and property information and assist with client communications.
• Transition clients smoothly to the claims and operations team once an agreement is secured, allowing you to focus on the next opportunity.
• Compete effectively with contractors, brokers, carriers, and other public adjusters in a competitive market.
• Translate complex insurance and policy language into clear, actionable strategies for clients.

Qualifications

• Proven success in outside sales, ideally in restoration, construction, remediation, or insurance-related industries.
• Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills; ability to gain trust under pressure.
• High emotional intelligence with the ability to balance empathy and assertiveness.
• Resilient, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently.
• Excellent communication and critical thinking abilities.
• Familiarity with insurance claims or property loss scenarios is a plus (training provided).

Other Requirements:
Candidates must reside in the San Francisco Bay Area, specifically between San Francisco and Palo Alto, with a strong preference for those located on the Peninsula. This proximity is essential to ensure timely response to assignments across the territory.
