The Role
The Chief Revenue Officer will lead and scale our client’s revenue generation functions, with a sharp focus on penetrating the enterprise client market. This executive will drive top-line growth by building a world-class sales organization, developing winning go-to-market strategies, and ensuring measurable execution.
This is a hands-on leadership role for a data-driven, enterprise-savvy, high-performing CRO who thrives in low-brand environments and enjoys rolling up their sleeves.
Responsibilities
- Drive enterprise client acquisition with an expectation of securing deals involving 20+ virtual assistant seats per engagement.
- Design and execute revenue generation strategies that align with the company’s goal of annual growth.
- Build and lead the enterprise sales team from the ground up.
- Manage and optimize a 7-person sales team, including performance oversight and development.
- Establish and track KPIs and revenue metrics with precision; meet and exceed targets within the first 90 days.
- Implement scalable systems and sales processes leveraging Salesforce, ZoomInfo, AI and other modern tools.
- Collaborate closely with marketing and executive leadership to align revenue operations and client outreach.
- Provide leadership in cross-functional initiatives, including upselling strategies and CRM optimization.
- Serve as a player-coach, actively prospecting, attending sales calls, and setting the standard for the team.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of leadership experience in revenue-generating roles across recruiting, HR services, BPO, outsourcing, or SaaS.
- Proven success selling services in low-brand or consultative sales environments.
- Demonstrated ability to scale enterprise sales functions, preferably in virtual workforce or tech-enabled service firms.
- Strong command of data-driven sales leadership. Able to design, implement, and optimize performance frameworks aligned with company growth targets.
- Natural hunter mentality with executive presence and strong emotional intelligence.
- Deep understanding of Salesforce CRM and tech-forward sales processes.
- Experience building and managing high-performance sales teams.
- Willingness to work on-site alongside the team in the Sacramento, CA offices.
