The Role: Interim Finance Manager Location: Austin, TX
We are currently searching for an Interim Finance Manager for a locally owned Austin restaurant. The Interim Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the accounting function as well as building and establishing reporting packages, financial analytics and strategic plans. The Interim Finance Manager will also have experience working in a small company environment with the ability to jump in and help, wherever needed and partner with the CEO to help the company succeed.
A successful Interim Finance Manager will have experience with working in a fast-paced environment and thinking outside the box.
Oversee the day-to-day and month-end accounting activities to ensure timeliness and accuracy.
Responsible for building a monthly financial reporting package with analysis.
Create and prepare operational reports based on management’ s needs.
Build financial models to assist the company with strategic development.
Ad-hoc reports and analysis as requested.
Assist in overseeing human resources, payroll and other areas of operations to determine cost cutting measures.
A Bachelor’ s degree in accounting or finance.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting, finance and operations.
Proven track record of building financial reporting packages and analyzing key information to improve the business.
Experienced consultant with small paced entrepreneurial company.
Ability to work in the day-to-day financial details and analyze the business from a high-level.
Self-motivated, mature, patient and versatile.
Resourcefulness with a “ can-do” results-oriented attitude to challenges and problem solving.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
Previous experience working in a small or start-up company where you had to wear many hats and learn quickly is a plus
