The Company

HireBetter is recruiting on behalf of a leading company in the outdoor advertising industry. Our client provides their customers with phenomenal billboard locations, as well as statewide distribution. They support a full-time staff of marketing consultants, construction workers and skilled artists and has a long stable and profitable history.

The Role

An experienced Executive Assistant is needed to support the president of this very successful outdoor advertising company both professionally and behind the scenes. This person would be the main point of contact in the office with companywide interaction becoming the president’ s right-hand person and trusted advisor. The company is located in South Austin and required hours are 9 am to 6 pm.


Executive Assistance
  • General administrative assistance of daily tasks as well as helping executive with big picture tasks as it pertains to monthly preparation for presentations and company meetings
  • Manage professional calendar of the executive
  • Proofread and edit executive’ s outbound correspondence
  • Schedule meetings and travel arrangements
  • Set up conference calls
  • Manage offsite storage

Human Resources Management
  • Benefits management
  • Work with executive to manage annual review process
  • Work with hiring managers on job descriptions, posting, reviewing resumes and guiding the process for internal interviews
  • Enroll new employees in HRIS
  • Manage health and wellness program
  • Maintain sick and vacation logs, timecard calculations
  • OSHA Record Keeping
  • Post job opportunities
  • Process termination reports

Office Management
  • Answer phone calls
  • Coordinating with facilities on ad hoc projects
  • Event planning; arrange quarterly lunches, manage employee recognition
  • Order office supplies

Personal Assistance
  • Coordinate cleaning services
  • Manage personal calendar
  • Run errands as necessary
  • Ensure properties are maintained

  • 5+ years of relevant experience preferred
  • Ability to demonstrate a high level of confidentiality and discretion
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite knowledge
  • Bachelor’ s degree or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated servant-mentality
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Highly self-motivated, strong attention to detail
